Finally! I’m trying to catch up on blogging the October weddings! Twas a lovely sunny day when Junghae and Albert tied the knot at The Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto. The couple were very sweet, a little shy, but very much in love. And I think you can see that in the photos. This wedding was shot under Claudia Akers Photography.

There are certain weddings that really make me love my job more than ever and last Friday’s wedding was one of them.  Liza and William made such a beautiful couple and their love cup was overflowing! It was an intimate affair of about 40 of their closest friends and family, held at Lincoln Oaks, a quaint bed and breakfast in Northern California. And despite it being “officially” autumn, the couple was blessed with beautiful weather. There are tons of great photos, but below are some of my favorites. You can view the entire slideshow here.

Cupcake Fun October 12, 2008

I RARELY post non-photography related entries, but I had to write about the urge to step out of your comfort zone and do something different.  With all the deadlines surrounding me these days, I decided to make use of my one free Saturday to take a gourmet cupcake class with my mommy friends in San Jose. And I’m so glad I did! And while some of my creations were a little lopsided — these cupcakes tasted awesome! Thanks Rathna for setting the class up.

If you want to be a gourmet cupcake diva, you can take classes at Cakeworks in San Jose. The owner and our teacher for the class, Julie is soo awesome.

I now know that I will definitely be asking for a Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas. In RED.

Leal Winery, Hollister CA October 5, 2008

Ah! The beauty of living in the Bay Area is that we have such awesome wedding venues! Case in point is Leal Winery, where I had the pleasure of shooting alongside Claudia Akers for the wedding of Connie and Mickee. The couple was absolutely gorgeous and so much in love.
